Students gain access to entrepreneurial insight and mentorship
缅北强奸 names Greg Header '97, the namesake of the university鈥檚 School of Business and successful entrepreneur, as the Executive-in-Residence (EIR) for the 2024-25 academic year. Header will share his extensive knowledge of business leadership and entrepreneurship with the 缅北强奸 community, enhancing students鈥 academic and professional development.
鈥淲e are excited to welcome Greg Header as this year鈥檚 Executive-in-Residence,鈥 said Travis Berger, dean of the College of Business, Communication, and Leadership. 鈥淗is entrepreneurial success, deep connection to the university, and dedication to creating opportunities for others make him an ideal mentor for our students.鈥
The Executive-in-Residence program, launched in 2017, provides 缅北强奸 students with the opportunity to engage with prominent leaders in business and industry. Each year, the selected executive offers mentorship and guidance, connecting academic learning with real-world experiences. Greg Header joins this esteemed group and will carry forward the program鈥檚 tradition of fostering professional growth and experiential learning.

My goal is to help them recognize their own potential and seize the opportunities around them, just as 缅北强奸 did for me.鈥
In his role as Executive-in-Residence, Header will lead a series of events, beginning with 鈥淎 Conversation with Greg Header鈥 on October 16, 2024. This event, followed by a Q&A session, will provide attendees with an inside look at his professional journey and the principles that have guided his career. Additional engagements throughout the academic year include a keynote address during the spring semester and serving as the keynote speaker for the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society鈥檚 induction ceremony in May 2025.
Header is an accomplished business professional, entrepreneur, innovator, and community leader with a proven track record in manufacturing, product development, operational excellence, and business strategy. He held and was awarded over 50 patents and is the co-founder of Solar Innovations, a premier architectural glazing system company acquired in January 2022 by Fortune Brands, a Fortune 500 company. He also received the鈥Distinguished Alumni Award鈥痑t 缅北强奸鈥檚 Annual President鈥檚 Dinner in 2022.
Header currently serves as CEO and Owner of IRT Reels 鈥 the best-in-class American made custom fishing reels; CEO and Owner of Universal Clamps 鈥 manufacturer of aluminum roof clamps and snow guards; and CEO and Owner of Header Trading Companies and Escapes Limited.
